About Us

Arizona native Mike Hastings founded PowerPlus Computers Inc in April 1997. Within a year, he moved to the present facility near 28th Drive and Cactus, sharing office space with his father, Ray Hastings, who is a CPA.

Encouraged by his dad, Hastings grew up learning how to how to take computers apart and how to put them together. He quickly became the family PC guru, then the PC guru of friends and neighbors. He knew that some day he'd have his own business.

After graduating from high school, Mike plunged in and started PowerPlus Computers. He is A+ Certified and only uses A+ certified technicians. He thoroughly enjoys learning about every new piece of hardware that comes along, and is very knowledgeable about the entire span of computers, both for home use and for businesses. He's also a great Microsoft fan.
